Tongston has developed a multi-faceted benchmarking assessment so that K-12 education institutions could evaluate their institutions against entrepreneurial thinking standards as it applies to K-12 educational institutions across 4 pillars of Education, Enterprise, Media & Finance.
The Education KPIs cut across benchmarking the schools’ education policies & practices, curriculum, teaching & assessment structures based on the Tongston 33 entrepreneurial education principles, Tongston’s scheme of work, Tongston teacher KPIs/standards and TESTS assessment framework. The Enterprise, Media and Finance KPIs assess Schools operations and administration/management.

Purpose: Schools express their interest in adopting the Tongston VIP Edm platform and provide key data such as:
- Number and key details of users (e.g., teachers, students/parents, administrators).
- Type of educational institution (nursery, primary, secondary, mixed).
- Existing solutions in use (e.g., school management software, ERP systems).Areas of initial interest in entrepreneurial education.
Complete the sign-up form by answering questions to enable us to get to know the school better and its needs.
Outcome
Be invited to complete the Entrepreneurial Thinking Diagnostic Assessment.
Entrepreneurial Thinking Diagnostic Assessment
Purpose: Benchmark the institution against Entrepreneurial Thinking (Education, Enterprise, Media and Finance) standards. Institution completes self-assessment online on Tongston VIP K-12 Edm Platform. Schools can pick and choose which pillar to be self-assessed against. The results are instant.
Outcome:
- Respond to questions and benchmark the dimensions of Entrepreneurial Thinking.
- Create Account on our platform.
- Receive your institutional result against the global Tongston benchmark.
- Access recommended solution.
- Receive a recommendations report highlighting:
- Gaps in current policies and practices.
- Alignment with entrepreneurial thinking benchmarks.
- Recommended Tongston K-12 solutions tailored to the school’s specific context.
Virtual / In-Person Recommendations Review
Length: Within 1 Week
Purpose: Schools review the diagnostic findings and prioritize their needs guided by Tongston team.
What Next? A member of the Tongston Institute Faculty contacts the school virtually / in-person through the Head of School / Proprietor (where relevant / possible) to:
- Discuss the report in detail.
- Gather feedback on recommended solutions.
- Explore preferred implementation pathways and key priorities.
Outcome:
- A customized plan of action is developed based on the school’s immediate and long-term priorities
- Select solutions based on the plan of action.
- Finalize number of users.
- Finalize commencement date.
Engagement Confirmation, Invoicing & Payments
Length: Within 1 Week
Purpose: Invoice the client and secure payments.
What Next?
- Invoice is generated based on the number of users, duration of engagement and selected solutions.
- Payment confirms commitment to the deployment process.
Outcome:
- A member of the Tongston Institute Faculty is assigned as the Engagement Officer to the school.
- Commencement of customization of the relevant solution to school requirements.
Virtual Recommendations Review
Length: Within 1 Week
Purpose: Government review the diagnostic findings and prioritize their needs guided by Tongston team to the schools of focus.
What Next? A member of the Tongston Institute Faculty contacts the government agency, ministry / department virtually to:
- Discuss the report in detail.
- Gather feedback on recommended solutions.
- Explore preferred implementation pathways and key priorities.
Outcome:
- A customized plan of action is developed based on the school’s immediate and long-term priorities.
- Select solutions based on the plan of action.
- Finalise number of users.
- Finalise commencement date
Virtual Onboarding & Platform Setup
Length: Within 2 Weeks
Purpose: Ensure a seamless transition to the Tongston platform.
What Next:
- Virtual onboarding session with the Engagement Officer.
- Access to user guides.
